At HCA we try to find the best, most appropriate, textbook for each subject we teach.  Along with a study of Scripture, we use Bible study textbooks published by ACSI or Bob Jones University Press.  Church History, Philosophy and Apologetic texts are published by Zondervan, Abingdon, and Intervarsity Press. Much of our math curriculum utilizes Saxon Math, but both Glencoe and West Publishing provide some great alternatives.  We have been very pleased with our BJUP history, biology, and physical science texts.  Upper level math and science textbooks are published by a variety of publishers including Pearson, Prentice Hall, Houghton Mifflin, and Addison Wesley.   To achieve our objectives in foreign language, Holt, Rhinehart, & Winston, the American Book Company, and Paradigm are used.  Our primary Literature text is published by Textword and is supplemented by Norton Anthology and numerous novels.
