I would love to share with you personally what changed my life and is continuing to change the lives of hundreds of children in a place called Haywood Christian Academy.

My wife Rebecca and I have three children and we are totally committed to Christian education. So much so that I left a career as a finance executive to begin a Christian school in Haywood County. This is what God has called me to do and He has led an amazing team of educators to HCA who are called to the same vision. Our vision is to create an environment where learning is for living out an active Christian faith. Where children are educated in an environment of encouragement, love, and academic challenge. Where our students become "thinking disciples" - disciples who connect Jesus Christ as the Creator and Lord of all things to the principles of calculus or chemistry or public speaking that will serve them throughout their lives. These students will be influencers of the next generation and have the potential to make a great impact for Christ. The Bible calls Jesus Christ "The Word." Thus our vision is summed up in the simple phrase, "Impacting the world by imparting the Word"

I love our community! Western North Carolina is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Rebecca and I are natives of this region and we want our community's families to have excellent educational choices. Unlike in years past, today's parents have many options. That is why I am committed to leading HCA as an institution of excellence, where your child will grow in practical knowledge, in spiritual wisdom, and in a deep love for God.
